ROCHELLE – It’s a Birthday Party at the Flagg Township Museum! We’ve been celebrating birthdays all year at the museum so come to our party and have cake and ice cream, try a game or two and find all the birthdays in our Birthday Scavenger Hunt. The party starts at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 14 and ends when the museum closes at 4 p.m. There will be a special treat for anyone born in 1944 or before and we’ll be sure to fire up the player piano for visitors to try their hand – oops, not hands but feet! – playing a special rendition of Happy Birthday. It’s our way of continuing to celebrate birthdays this year at the museum.
The mission of the Flagg Township Historical Society and Museum is to stimulate interest in Flagg Township history through education, research, collection and preservation of information for the benefit of the public of today and in the future.
