On May 8 at 9:33 a.m. Benjamin D. Piper, 23, of Dixon was arrested for driving while license suspended and for an outstanding Lee County warrant. Piper was also cited for violating class first division vehicle/motorcycle, expired registration, and improper display of registration. He was released on a notice to appear with a June 7 Rochelle court date. For the Lee County warrant, he was released on a notice to appear with a May 30 Lee County court date.

On May 8 at 1:54 p.m. Mackenzie M. Sanders, 32, of Rochelle was cited for speeding 49 miles per hour in a 30 miles per hour zone. He signed a promise to comply and was given a June 7 Rochelle court date.
On May 8 at 8:59 p.m. Joshua Reyes, 23, of Rochelle was cited for operating a vehicle with suspended registration. He signed a promise to comply and was given a June 7 Rochelle court date.
All individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty.
