ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Township High School end-of-year assembly was held May 17. Prizes were awarded to students with perfect attendance for at least one quarter of the school year.

Over 50 prizes were given away to eligible students. Hugo Munoz, with perfect attendance in the 2023-2024 school year, won the $2,500 grand prize donated by Jeff Perry. Jeff Perry Automotive has been the annual supporter of the grand prize for the Renaissance program since taking over the dealership in Rochelle.

This assembly is a facet of the RTHS Renaissance Program, which has been in existence for over 20 years. The Renaissance program is an incentive-based program which promotes excellence, improvement and personal responsibility. A program such as this is only as successful as those that are willing to support it. Over the past two decades, the Rochelle area has been generous with both time and money in their investment in the RTHS Renaissance program. Due to the continued support of so many of you, RTHS has been able to tangibly reward students for their efforts.
