ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Lady Hub varsity softball team had its season come to a close on Tuesday evening, when the purple and white hosted the IHSA 3A Rochelle Regional Semifinals against Sycamore.
The seventh-seeded Lady Hubs fell 22-0 in four innings to the top-seeded Spartans, who scored six runs in the bottom of the first inning before adding 12 runs in the bottom of the second inning. Rochelle finished the season with a 5-19 overall record and a 0-10 record in the Interstate 8 Conference.
